Quality Awards Ceremony
on Monday 20th November 2017, 6pm – 8pm
at City Hall, Centenary Square, Bradford, BD1 1HY
The Lord Mayor of Bradford will present the awards.
Bradford Council, in partnership with the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education(NRCSE), piloted the nationally recognised Quality Framework with four supplementary schools:
- Bradford Polish School
- Bradford Chinese School
- Gurdwara Singh Sabha
- Madrasah Madania Tahfeezul Quran(MMTQ)
Following a Recognition Meeting held on 22nd September 2017 where portfolio of evidence was presented to education experts, three schools have achieved the national Quality Award and MMTQ achieved the Bronze Award. The participating schools also received
a detailed report highlighting good practice and recommendations for future development.
The Quality Framework is based upon eight standards:
- Creating an effective learning environment
- Teaching and learning
- Recording and celebrating achievement
- Resources
- Planning including monitoring and evaluation
- Staff and volunteer management
- Safeguarding
- Financial management
