Description of training

 

Content: understanding hearing loss and its implications for young children (listening, speaking, communication/language development), considerations in an early years’ setting (including acoustics) and strategies for supporting children with hearing loss.

Outcomes: staff have a better understanding of the needs of pupils with hearing loss and are able to identify potential issues and enhance practice.
