The government has changed the legislation regarding off payroll working in the public sector.
Reminder for schools
With effect from 6 April 2017 all public sector organisations, including schools, are obliged to check the tax status of anyone they engage to undertake work for them who is not paid through payroll eg Limited Companies, Contractors, Consultants.
