Non-accidental injuries and FGM

An opportunity to enhance safeguarding knowledge in the areas of non-accidental injury and FGM. The course will be presented by two London-based doctors from GP and Paediatric specialties - Dr Sophie Halstead and Dr Tom Bracewell. The teaching will include
explanations and implications around bruising, types of FGM, serious case reviews and opportunities to apply the learning and practice communication skills with role play.

Friday 6 October - study visit. Train travel from Greenwich to Gidea Park before visiting the school. Travel to Leeds from Gidea Park.
