Animal Agents Summer Reading Challenge 2017 is a national library initiative, delivered by libraries in partnership with the Reading Agency.
It's aim is to encourage primary age children to continue to read throughout the summer holidays.
Research has shown that the Summer Reading Challenge improves children's enjoyment of reading, as well as their reading range, confidence and motivation and it helps prevent the summer holiday dip in literacy skills.
The Summer Reading Challenge starts Saturday 15th July at all Bradford Libraries.
You can help the children in your school participate by organising a class visit prior to the end of the summer term, in which the children can be registered to join the library and the summer reading challenge.
Full details can be found in the documents below as well as in the Animal Agents Summer Reading Challenge 2017 School Packs sent to your school.
