Is your school's website up to date and compliant with DfE regulations?

The Department for Education regulations on what schools should publish on their websites were updated at the end of last year. Is your information correct? Does it comply with the regulations?

For some time now we have been assisting schools with their websites, ensuring that they are compliant with The School Information (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 issued by the DfE in terms of the information they should publish on their websites.

Most schools who were compliant previously (i.e. before the Autumn term 2016) may, now in fact, not be compliant.

The Pupil Premium Strategy for the academic year 2016 – 2017 needs to be added, and also the impact for the previous academic year needs to be included in last year’s Pupil Premium Report.

We are attaching herewith the checklist which is useful when checking your site for compliance, along with the Primary Pupil Premium Strategy document.

Should you require any assistance or wish to discuss this please contact Alyson Hardaker (Monday to Wednesday), T 01274 434673 (alyson.hardaker@bradford.gov.uk) or Julie Ioanna, T 01274 439404 (Julie.ioanna@bradford.gov.uk)

Academies and Free Schools can use the attached maintained schools guide, however, they would be  best discussing this with their funding provider / sponsor as they are required to provide additional financial information which does not apply to maintained schools.
