The project’s aim it to tackle peer-based online sexual harassment among 13 – 17 year olds by empowering local communities including schools and police to work together to increase reporting among young people.
Childnet are looking to recruit 10 young people who are passionate about making the internet a better place and want to speak out about the issues that affect them. The Youth Advisory Board will be our youth experts. They will be able to advise us on how
we speak about online sexual harassment in a relevant way, what kind of support young people would find most helpful, and to help us develop our resources.
The Youth Board will have the opportunity to influence key industry and policymakers, helping shape best practice on how to respond to the issue of online sexual harassment.
They would be delighted if you would be able to promote the opportunity to join the Youth Advisory Board to young people at your school.
Please do have a look at the website for more information about the programme.
