The event will run on Friday 5th May 9:30am – 2:30pm. Racing will take place on the River Aire at Robert’s park in Saltaire.
The event is free and open to everyone. Parents are also welcome to come and enjoy the day together with their children and cheer teams on!
The event is supporting the Lord Mayor’s Charity Young Minds, the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.
The race categories include:
- Junior Years 7-9
- Senior Years 10-13
- Mixed 8 Junior and 8 Senior paddlers
- Disability Years 11-25
Prizes will be awarded in each race category.
There will be other fun and team building activities for young people to take part in on the day including:
- Army assault course
- Climbing tower
- Volleyball
- Lawn croquet
- Problem solving and challenge stations
- Art workshops
- Smoothie bike
And many more things that will keep you entertained throughout the day.
