'Our shared future', the Refugee Week Art Exhibition 2017,
will be in Gallery II, Chesham B Building, University of Bradford. The exhibition will run
from Monday 19 to Saturday 24 June and will also be open on Saturday 1 July, to coincide with the International Refugee Festival at the University of Bradford Union.
As in the past this will be an all-age, mixed-media exhibition, with individual and collaborative work. Exhibits from schools - from Reception to Year 13 - and groups of all kinds are most welcome, as is work by
asylum seekers and refugees, art students and established artists. Information on the 2016 exhibition can be found at
https://bradford.cityofsanctuary.org/refugee-week-art-exhibition-2016.
The 2017 exhibition is being organised by Bradford City of Sanctuary. If you would like to submit work and need a registration form, or would just like to know more, contact Mary Blacka on 07415 307389 or
schools@bradford.cityofsanctuary.org.
We are also looking for school - and other - groups to perform music or dance, at the International Refugee Festival, on Saturday 1 July, between 11-00am and 3-00pm, at the University of Bradford Union. We also need
five-a-side football teams – more about this later. Contact Mary, as above.
