We are very proud of the job outcomes for Bradford Project SEARCH interns so far…..
• Year 1 (September 2013): 6 out of the 9 students who graduated are currently in paid employment. (67%)
• Year 2 (September 2014): 6 out of the 8 students who graduated are currently in paid employment. (75%)
• Year 3 (September 2015): 4 out of the 9 students who graduated have already found paid employment, and others are receiving ongoing support with job searching.
The national employment rate for adults with learning disabilities is 6.6%.
Applications for the 2017 intake are due in on 5th April 2017 and are available to download from our website, and also attached to this email. Applicants must be aged between 18-25 at the start of the programme and have a cognitive learning disability
to be eligible. I would be grateful if you can forward these details to colleagues who work with eligible young people, as well as potential applicants and their families who may be interested in applying.
