Men in the Early Years Conference - Bradford 18 July 2017

A national conference which will highlight the important role men play in the early lives of children.

The Men in the Early Years conference, taking place on Tuesday18 July 2017 at the Media Museum, will feature prominent international speakers who all share an interest in the vital role men play in the early years sector and the importance of engaging fathers in their child’s development.

Aimed at both men and women in the early years sector, the conference will include 10 workshops, which will provide delegates with the opportunity to share good practice and develop practical approaches for engaging more men in the early years sector.

The Men in the Early Years conference will also explore questions around gender imbalance in early years workplaces, and highlight a growing need for men to be seen positively as care-givers.

The cost of the conference is £40, with a limited number of places for those not currently employed in a school or setting available at £25. Click here to book a place.

The conference is a collaboration between the National Literacy Trust, the Fatherhood Institute, the Bradford Birth to 19 Teaching School Alliance and the St. Edmund’s Nursery School and Children’s Centre Services.
