We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
The Engineers Without Borders Society at the University of Leeds are looking to inspire the younger generation (aged 9-12) during an outreach day by sharing and educating them through three different modules.
Water for the World, Power for the World and Shelter for the World. These modules will be full of practical and engaging learning activities to inspire and excite pupils. Led by a team of friendly and positive University students, the day will aim to explain the different ways that engineering is applied in our everyday lives! The outreach day will take place on Friday 24th February from 9:30am-2:30pm and the team are offering FREE PLACES to schools to bring along up to 15 pupils for an exciting day of engineering! For more information and to book a place for your school, please contact: Jeff Brown (Engineers Without Borders Society President) - cn15jdsw@leeds.ac.uk
