Secondary Phase 2017-18 FFT Aspire subscription

The Schools Forum in its meeting on 18 January 2017 decided to continue de-delegation from the Primary Phase to purchase FFT Aspire licences for Primary Schools for the 2017-18 financial year. The Schools Forum decided not to continue de-delegation for this purpose from the Secondary Phase.

The Local Authority is currently finalising the subscription with FFT Aspire.  Recognising the substantial saving that collective purchase brings, the Local Authority would like to offer Secondary Schools and Academies that wish to use FFT Aspire in 2017-18 the opportunity to purchase a subscription at a discounted rate through the Local Authority.

The exact discount will depend on the number of Secondary Schools and Academies that wish to purchase through the Local Authority.  As an example, where at least 25% of Secondary Schools and Academies purchase via the Local Authority the price will be approximately 35% lower than subscribing directly with FFT.  If all Secondary Schools and Academies purchased via the Local Authority the price will be approximately 65% lower than subscribing directly with FFT.

Secondary Schools and Academies that wish to purchase via the Local Authority must confirm by email to IMTAnalysisTeam@bradford.gov.uk by Friday 10 February 2017.  Secondary Schools and Academies that do not confirm that they wish to purchase an FFT Aspire licence through the Local Authority, but still wish access FFT Aspire after 1 April 2017, will need to purchase their licence directly from FFT at a substantially higher cost.

If fewer than 25% of Secondary Schools and Academies wish to purchase through the Local Authority, it will not be possible to obtain the discount, therefore schools will need to subscribe directly with FFT.
