Half Term Minecraft activity opportunity

Are you looking for a fun activity to keep your primary age pupils entertained during February half term? The Curriculum Innovation team are running 4 Minecraft meets on Mon 20 & Tues 21 Feb at The Innovation Centre. The sessions are aimed at 6 to 11 year olds and are priced at £8 per child.

The team will use Minecraft EDU on laptops to run 2 activities in each session. In activity 1 we will go on a Minecraft treasure hunt. If we have time we will move on to a building challenge. In activity 2 we will learn how to record our Minecraft adventures like pro YouTubers whilst staying safe online. There will also be time to check out papercraft activities and take away a photo of you in a Minecraft world.

If your child is a Minecraft enthusiast then this will represent the ideal activity for the half term.

The meets are being held on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February and are repeated four times with the same session on Monday morning, Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon.
