Urgent Action Required - School Energy Contracts

If you havent already done so please sign and return the energy contracts for your school. Schools on the YPO contact are affected as the gas supplier is changing from British Gas to Corona Energy in April 2017.

URGENT REMINDER - YPO gas contract changing to Corona Energy

This is an important reminder urgent action is required regards your schools utility contracts.

In December 2016 schools received documentation regarding the change of gas suppliers from British Gas to Corona Energy under the YPO contract from April 2017.

To help manage the move to Corona Energy and to ensure that all parties are happy with their responsibilities under the contract, enclosed were documents that schools needed to sign and return to confirm you wish to move to Corona Energy in April and that you will be responsible to pay for the energy you use.

Most schools also received a contract for electricity outlining your responsibilities as an Npower customer too.

If signed contracts are not returned and you have not arranged a new energy supply, you will remain a customer of British Gas on their standard contract energy rates which are considerably more expensive.

Please ensure you have signed and returned both contract documents.

Any outstanding contract documents should be returned by Friday 20th January to Bradford Council, Environment & Climate Change Unit, 5th Floor Sir Henry Mitchell House, 4 Manchester Road, Bradford BD5 0QL.

If you have misplaced the documents please contact eccu@bradford.gov.uk to arrange for another copy to be supplied.
