STA Briefing: Access Arrangements

We’re delighted to inform you that we have arranged for the Standards and Testing Agency (STA) to deliver a briefing in Bradford outlining the access arrangements for children during national tests.

During our “Teaching Reading” programme, the value of such a session has emerged and we’re pleased that Alison Wright will be joining us. The session will focus on the access arrangements that can be put in place and how these can be evidenced through an Access File as normal arrangements for some children. Clearly, the session focuses on the content of the ARA and it will provide an opportunity for leaders to ask questions.

Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of the ARA with them to the briefing. On this occasion, the session will not focus on test administration or changes beyond those specifically relevant to access arrangements.

The briefing will take place on Tuesday 7th February 2017 at The Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford. There will be limited free parking but additional parking can be purchased next to the courts and at The Broadway.

Three time slots are available, each slot covering the same content. Schools can book up to one place per time slot. 40 places per session are available. Each session lasts 90 minutes and commence at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:30. Delegates should arrive in the hotel no earlier than 15 minutes before the event start time, please. Places are available on a first come basis.

Places are available at a cost of £45 pp (plus booking fee, reduced if you opt to pay be cheque). You can book via the following link.
