Celebrate World Book Day Thursday 2 March 2017 at Bradford Libraries with author and Word Wizard – Andrew Newbound. He will be performing his humorous and energetic Brilltastical Dahl did-you-know-athon. Children will get the chance to participate and,of course, have lots of book-related fun.

Bradford Libraries are delighted that we can offer schools, two events for World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March with author and Word Wizard – Andrew Newbound.

He will be performing his humorous and energetic Brilltastical Dahl did-you-know-athon. The children will test their knowledge of Roald Dahl and all his wonderful books while finding out more interesting facts along the way. Children will get the chance to participate and, of course, have lots of book-related fun. There are two sessions. Both are suitable for Y3 to Y6. We have places for 60 children from two schools for both sessions. We will offer one place (30 children max) per school. 

The sessions are:-

Thursday 2 March 2017 10am – 11am @ City Library, Centenary Square, Bradford BD1 1SD

Thursday 2 March 2017 1.15pm – 2.15pm @ Shipley Library, Wellcroft, Shipley BD18 3QH

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 1 February 2017.

Your school will be sent via email a letter of confirmation if you have been successful in securing a place.
