Adventure Development Outreach Service

The Outreach team is a fully equipped team of specialist instructors working in Bradford supporting schools, youth groups and many organisations and individuals to learn, get active and have fun in the Great Outdoors.

Adventure Development offers a wide range of outdoor activities which we specifically tailor to suit you requirements. We can take your students to one of the many stunning outdoor venues of Bradford and beyond or bring activities to your school site. We have a wealth of experience delivering to all abilities throughout the district.  Join us and enrich your students experience by learning outside the classroom.

Delivery:  We design bespoke programmes to suit your needs using the following activities.  Climbing, mobile climb tower, caving, gorge scrambling, mountain biking, camping, hill walking, canoeing, sailing, archery, orienteering, bush craft, problem solving, and team building.  We have years of experience creating programmes to meet student personal and curricular needs. Delivering everything from full class days, alternative sports days, specific curriculum activities to weekly outdoor programmes.

Benefits: Outdoor activities enrich a student experience and have been shown to:

  • Improve health and wellbeing through the promotion of active lifestyles
  • Develop personal qualities such as self-confidence and self-reliance
  • Promote co-operation, problem solving and teamwork
  • Encourage respect for each other and the natural environment

Quality Assurance: We are passionate about learning outside of the classroom and have been awarded an Adventure Activities Licence. Our experienced staff are all fully qualified in specific activity awards, first aid trained, DBS checked, council minibus drivers and are experienced at making the outdoors fun.
