Last week was
Anti Bullying Week. Bullying is a complex issue that has many dimensions and which can have a profound and long-lasting effect on people’s lives. We know that many
young people and even adults encounter bullying at some stage in their lives.
Children’s Services hosted two events during the week to draw attention to some of the causes and effects of bullying on children and young people: the
Public Forum for Education which focused on children’s mental health, and the Educating Against Hate Conference. I'd like to thank everyone who contibuted and attended these events.
