IOSH Working Safely 1 Day Course

Bradford Council is pleased to offer places on the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Working Safely training course, which provides a grounding in the essentials of health & safety and meets the governments guidelines. It focuses on why health and safety is important.

It will not turn you into a safety expert. It focuses on why health and safety is important and includes:

•Introduction to working safely
•Defining Hazard and Risk
•Identifying common hazards
•Improving safety performance
•Protecting your environment
 
Pre-requisites:
You will need to be able to stay for the full day. There is an assessment at the end. If successful you will be awarded a certificate by IOSH.
Target audience:
Designed for anyone at any level as an introduction to health and safety. This course is aimed at employees from schools and other external organisations.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided
It will be held on 5 December at Margaret McMillan Tower, Bradford 9.00am - 5.00pm
