West Yorkshire Police Children's Christmas Card Competition

Creative children are being invited to design a festive picture for the front of the West Yorkshire Police Christmas card.

A competition for children aged 12 and under is being launched today

All entries must be hand drawn to fit the theme of ‘The Police at Christmas’ and all entrants must currently live in West Yorkshire.

In addition to seeing their special design on the front of the Force’s Christmas card, the winner will also win a tour of West Yorkshire Police’s Carr Gate complex. Subject to any operational requirements on the day, the winner will have the opportunity to see the National Police Air Service helicopter, the horses in the Mounted Section and public order training areas.

Entries can be submitted an online form by tweeting us via Twitter or by post. All entries will be published on a Facebook album and on the Force website and other social media accounts.

The winner will be chosen by West Yorkshire Police’s Chief Constable Dee Collins. The closing date for entries is midnight on Monday, 21st November and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, 30th November.

Full terms and conditions and the online entry form are available on the West Yorkshire Police website at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/ChristmasCardCompetition
