IOSH Working Safely 1 Day Course

This course provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety and meets the governments guidelines. It will not turn you into a safety expert. It focuses on why health and safety is important.

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, in association with training provider Alcumus, is pleased to offer places on the IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) Working Safely training course

 
This course provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety and meets the governments guidelines. It will not turn you into a safety expert. It focuses on why health and safety is important and includes:
 
  • Introduction to working safely
  • Defining Hazard and Risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance
  • Protecting your environment
 
Pre-requisites: You will need to be able to stay for the full day. There is an assessment at the end. If successful you will be awarded a certificate by IOSH.
 
Target audience: Designed for anyone at any level as an introduction to health and safety. This course is aimed at employees from schools and other external organisations.
