The Peter Greenwood Memorial Trust was set up by Peter's wife Hazel in 1986.
The Trust aims to provide financial support for individuals in the deaf and hard of hearing community through small cash grants, helping them continue their secondary, higher or further education or training.
Peter was also a member of the staff team at Bradford & Ilkley Community College and devoted a great deal of his time helping deaf and hearing impaired young people in furthering their education and training.
To mark the 30 year anniversary and celebration of the Trust’s activities there is to be an event at Glyde House, Glydegate, Bradford BD1 0BQ on Monday 7 November between 4 and 7 pm.
All are warmly invited to meet the small group of volunteers who run the Trust. Representatives from Bradford City Football Club will also be present.
