Investors in Health success for Feversham Primary Academy

Feversham Primary Academy held a Heatlh & Wellbeing event last year to launch and raise the profile of the subject across school. There was a focus on cross curricular links so that PSHE was embedded through other subjects.

As a result, a range of external organisations were used to promote awe and wonder In PSHE and to teach about life styles choices, including:

  • Life Caravan

  • Drug awareness workshops by the Children’s Charity

  • Jamie’s Ministry of Food

  • Bradford Bulls assembly, including the Bull Man to launch the week

  • Staff breakfast

  • Scrap books by classes with samples of their work.
