National Pathology Week (NPW), is a week-long celebration of pathology and the important contribution pathologists make to healthcare, through a programme of events aimed at people of all ages. The theme of NPW 2016 is “Pathology: prevention, diagnosis,
treatment”.
Participating schools will provide two groups of pupils – one group will travel to the University and take part within the Integrated Life Sciences Learning Centre – the second group will take part at school via audio visual link. The event will be a unique
“teach-in” involving all participating schools and the University in one teaching session. Schools will provide their own histology slides to be scanned and stored as digital images to form the basis of the session. This is a new and innovative approach being
piloted by the University - get in touch to be part of our exciting event!
