Teaching Reading

Copthorne Primary School, Horton Grange Primary School and Horton Park Primary School invite headteachers and subject leaders to join this programme in order to consider effective practice in the teaching of Reading across the primary phase.

The three schools will share aspects of their practice that have helped them to maintain positive pupil outcomes at the end of  Key Stage 2 in 2016.  There is no single strategy that resulted in these outcomes: the schools have focused on teaching and learning and developed a culture of continuous improvement. The schools will share their individual approaches for attendees to consider and adapt to their own school’s needs and context.

The event flier can be downloaded via the following link. Places on the programme can be booked online via this link.
