To start with, from September 1st we will no longer be the Parent and Young People’s Partnership Service; we will become Bradford Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS). This will bring us in line with
the majority of the other services around the country. Only our name is changing though, the service that we offer to parents and young people remains the same. We provide information, advice and support on a range of topics, including but not limited to provision
in schools, assessments, Education Health and Care Plans, transitions, exclusions, transport, appeals, local policies and the SEND Code of Practice. If you are working with a child with special educational needs and disabilities, and they or their parents/carers
are struggling with any of the above, please get in touch to see if we can help, or pop along to our networking lunch for more information:
We will be holding a networking lunch for professionals working with Children, Young People and Families with SEND on Tuesday 27th September 11.30-1pm at Barnardos, Queens Road. Come along and meet the team and find out more about the service. Lunch will
be provided. Please contact Debbie.Jowett@barnardos.org.uk for more information and to book your place.
