Bradford Birth to 19 Teaching School is pleased to be able to offer a bespoke professional development offer which specifically focuses on Early Career teachers.

We will be working in collaboration with Philip Webb, a Literacy consultant, who has a wide range of experiences in the Bradford context.

This 2 and half day programme (first day is 7 October 2016) will be supported by Specialist Leaders in Education (SLE) and Leaders of Excellent Practice (LEP) and will include a half day support visit into your school to support the planning of English.


Participants will be able to plan, teach and assess an effective ‘reading to writing’ teaching sequence using high quality texts.
