SACRE has developed a new syllabus in the context of contemporary developments and good practice in education.
Pupils will develop the capacity to describe, explain and analyse religious concepts through structured investigation, reflection and response which will enable them to understand and appreciate the nature (what it is), significance (why it is important)
and impact (what difference it makes) of religious and non-religious beliefs and world views.
Additional resources and professional development will be available to support teachers in the delivery of this exciting new syllabus.
