Teachers and Teaching Assistants - Working Together: Free course on 8 July

Bradford College is offering a session on Friday 8 July which will examine how teachers and teaching assistants can work together effectively. Free to pairs of teachers and teaching assistants working together.

Recent research has questioned how Teaching Assistants (TAs) are used in schools. OFSTED will be examining how TAs support learning and schools will be expected to demonstrate that the use of TAs is developing independence for learners.  Schools are urged to send pairs of teachers and TAs who will be working together in the coming academic year. This session will enable staff to explore their own practice and establish guidelines for their classroom or school for 2016/17.

Date:           Friday 8 July, 1.15 pm - 4.15 pm

Location:    4th Floor, David Hockney Building, Bradford College, Great Horton Road, Bradford BD7 1AY

Cost:            Free to pairs of Teachers and TAs working together.  £20 for individual Managers, Teachers or TAs
