Brownlee Foundation Primary School Triathlon Event 9 June 2016

Following the success of the event in 2015, the Brownlee Foundation is again offering an opportunity to all Bradford Primary Schools to take part in a specific Primary School participation event in Triathlon and its free!

Following the success of the first event in 2015, the Brownlee Foundation is once again providing Bradford Primary Schools with a great opportunity to be involved in a Triathlon experience, specificially aimed at Primary aged pupils. The Brownlee Foundation was set up by the Brownlee brothers Alistair and Jonny so they can give something back to the community.

The event which will be held at Bradford Grammar School on Thursday 9 June is for KS2 pupils and is free.

Your pupils will have an opportunity to try the disciplines of the triathlon and will swim 25m, cycle 1k and run 400M (all distances are approx.). Bikes and helmets will be provided, please note that children taking part must be able to swim at least 25m.

The event staff will be fully qualified and overseen by the British Triathlon Association.

Each group will enjoy all three disciplines and the experience is expected to take between 60 and 90 minutes per group.

Schools wishing to participate are invited to register an interest by emailing;

Clairekremer@triathlontrust.org or call 07946 042078 with any enquires.

Please give an indication of how many children you would like to bring (the maximum is 20 but you may be able to register for more sessions if available).
