Places available at the National Media Museum's TV Production Tour

This term is the LAST chance to book onto this exciting and interactive TV Production Tour which covers curriculum links from English, Science, DT and Media. The tour is available to book until Friday 22 July and is FREE!

Pupils attending these tours enjoy finding out about how it works and that it’s used in some of their favourite films and programmes.

Exploring how to use the blue screen develops pupil’s creative, technical and practical expertise.  These are skills needed to perform everyday tasks confidently and to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world.

It’s great to see the faces and gasps of the groups of pupils playing on the screen especially when they get chased by a dinosaur or a shark!

The tour is 25 minutes and the group gain an understanding of the three stages of filming and what they involve; learn key words and phrases and most importantly they’ll have fun!

Follow up learning about films with experiencing one in our IMAX cinema. It’s £5 per child and only £1.50 per adult. Our brand new interactive gallery is opening in Spring 2017.

Entry to the museum, plus many more  Explainer shows, workshops and talks and lunch space lockers are free.
