University of Bradford Teachers and Advisers Science Conference

The University of Bradford Faculty of Life Sciences is hosting a Teachers and Advisers Science Conference on 27th May including a series of curriculum workshops based around the University’s science related courses.

The conference will be an opportunity to learn how Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences and Chemistry can support your science teaching in school, as well as how you can help pupils in making career and subject choices.

We will be offering a choice of morning and afternoon sessions covering :

Pharmacy: Tableting and Formulation Science and Pharmacy research workshops

Biomedical Science: HIV and pathology workshops

Chemistry: Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles and guided tour of the Centre for Chemical and Structural Analysis

There will also be talks on careers, Team-Based Learning and a chance to tour the STEM Centre and look at our schools' STEM offer

The day will run from 11.45 to 16.15 and is free to all delegates.
