We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
There have been some developments in how partners across the district respond to "Missing Children". The Bradford Safeguarding Children Board in collaboration with our multi-agency partners will be putting on 4 workshop sessions in May to update staff on the changes.
The workshops will also feature a nationally recognised guest speaker Luke Rodgers, a former care leaver and founder of Foster Focus, an organisation which provides children's services opportunities to grow and improve by involving young people who will be speaking about the voice of the child.
Please encourage staff and managers who work with children at risk of and/or who go missing to attend one of the workshops on offer as detailed on the attached flyer. Bookings are to be e-mailed to bscbtraining@bradford.gov.uk stating which date and time slot they would like.
