Would you like to improve your literacy and numeracy skills?

This course will enable you to develop your literacy and numeracy skills up to Level 2. Level 2 demonstrates that you are able to work at a level equivalent to Grade A – C, GCSE

Assessment date:  13 April 2016

Numeracy Assessment - 4.15p.m
Literacy Assessment - 5.30p.m

A series of support lessons are being introduced onto the Workforce Development Training Calendar.  These sessions are for you to learn more about what’s involved, and to speak to a tutor who will arrange for you to be assessed to determine the level of support you need.  You will be supported to achieve up to a level 2.

This programme of learning is to support you to achieve up to a Level 2 in numeracy or literacy.  This qualification is recognised as you having the skills equivalent to those needed at GCSE grade A-C.  Following your assessment you will be invited to attend an appropriate course for a 13 week programme.  The course will run on a Wednesday evening (to be confirmed dependent on numbers).
