VIP Invitation to the Bradford premiere of Freesia

Bradford UNESCO City of Film and Arakan Creative cordially invite you to the Bradford premiere of ‘Freesia’.

The film is a multi-narrative journey that weaves between three families living in present-day Bradford.

Dealing with women's rights, mosques and the far-right, three young protagonists find themselves propelled into the world of prejudice when their paths collide.

The film has screened at a number of film festivals around the world and has so far attained 5 official selections:

1) Miami Independent Film Fest (Mindie)

2) Los Angeles CineFest

3) Equality International Film Festival (Sacramento, California)

4) Focus International Film Festival (USA)

5) International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema, London - in which Freesia was nominated in 3 categories:

  • Best Original Screenplay for Feature Film
  • Best Original Score
  • Best Director

And has also won an 'Award of Merit' from the Accolade Global Film Competition (San Diego, USA)
