Cyber Awareness course - Helping to keep children safe on-line

Cyber Awareness - This course is intended to improve the knowledge and awareness of modern day problems in relation to children's use of the internet.

The course is split into 4 sections

  • Cyber Awareness
  • Cyber Bullying
  • Social Media
  • Cyber Safeguarding

By the end of the course participants will understand the vast complex nature of the virtual world, will be able to identify signs of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), and have some basic knowledge to proveeffective safeguarding to children of all ages.

The courses will be delivered by PCSO 676 Stephen Atkinson Bradford District Cyber-Co-ordinator.

Course dates and Venues:

Tuesday 22nd March 2016 @ Keighley Police Station, Airedale House, Royd Ings Avenue, Keighley, BD21 4BZ - 6.00pm - 8.00pm

Tuesday 12th April 2016 @ St Peters House, 1 Forster Square, Bradford, BD1 4TY - 7.00pm - 9.00pm (priority will be given to childminders)
