The course sees students aged between 16-18 undertaking their studies in the Foundation’s state of the art classrooms situated in the unique surroundings of the Provident Stadium.
It provides a solid foundation for students wishing to pursue a career in the Sports Industry or progress onto University and higher education.
The course includes a wide range of modules within sport that will enhance opportunities for students upon completion of their academic studies.
The modules are designed to ensure the course is delivered in a practical and engaging way. The aim is to offer an enjoyable and individualistic approach to all learners.
Throughout the two-year course, students will pursue work placements in various departments of the Foundation and the Bradford Bulls Rugby League club. Learners will assist Foundation Development Officers in delivering key programmes including our Primary
and Secondary school coaching initiative. Students will help to plan coaching sessions and coordinate school Rugby League festivals.
In addition students will gain an insight into the Business side of Sport by assisting the foundation team with various media and marketing campaigns.
Learners also have the opportunity to become actively involved with the Foundation on game days. The Foundation has a strong community presence at Bradford Bulls home games and students will help to coordinate this.
Learners will help to coordinate the Bullman parade, referee half time mini league games and support members of the Foundation team in various roles.
