Many of us work in ‘pockets’ of green space, school fields or small gardens. This day will give you ideas and practical experience of changes you can make to those spaces in order to
create a more ‘Forest School’ feel.
You will look at:
Shelters for sites
Tree planting and willow structure planning
Building “seating” for campfire / story areas – permanent and temporary structures
Using local resources – people, support, materials
Campfire location, building and management
Exploiting unused areas of grounds
Trainer: Phil Lowde
Time: 10am - 3pm
