The programme does not provide a checklist for achieving an Ofsted outstanding grade but focuses the delegates on key areas of classroom practice and how to move that forward to the highest possible level. The programme also recognises that outstanding
practitioners can make a difference system wide and gives the delegates the skills needed to work with adults back in their organisations.
Structure:
The programme is a combination of Face to Face mostly twilight sessions followed by a range of inter-sessional activities that are completed back in schools and classrooms to further deepen the learning and the impact of the Face to Face sessions.
Outcomes:
Development of a higher level of understanding of what Outstanding teaching and learning looks like.
Development of a common language about teaching and learning.
An understanding of adult learning and how it can be facilitated.
Dates and venue:
The sessions will be in February, March, April and May at Titus Salt School.
