2015 RAISEOnline Inspection Dashboards updates

Please see below for further details.

The 2015 Key Stage 4 unvalidated inspection dashboards have now been published and are accessible under the PDF documents tab.

Secondary inspection dashboard release

We have made the following changes to the dashboards:

  • Two additional pages are shown for schools that opted in to Progress 8 and Attainment 8 measures in 2015.  These display data for the overall score and the English, mathematics, EBacc and open elements for the key groups.
  • The tables below the fixed term exclusion charts now show the numbers of pupils that were excluded in addition to the percentages. These are available for the most recent year of data only.
  • The context page shows the percentage of Year 11 pupils for whom the prior attainment was based on teacher assessment. This was added because a high number of pupils had no test result in 2010 due to the boycott.
  • The number of children looked after is now provided on the context page.

The floor standards shown are still those for 2014. The 2015 floor standards will be published in January 2016. These will be included when the validated inspection dashboard is released.

Primary inspection dashboard release

Inspection dashboards for all schools have been updated to incorporate 2015 absence data and 2014 exclusion data. The tables below the fixed term exclusion charts now show the numbers of pupils that were excluded in addition to the percentages. These are available for the most recent year of data only.

The front page summarises strengths and weaknesses based on only the 2015 data shown in the dashboard, so cannot include any for the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) until 2015 data are shown in a later release. Users will need to refer to the 2014 inspection dashboard to see any EYFSP strengths and weaknesses.

Please note that the dashboards have also been updated with more precise calculations of significance for Key Stage 2 average point scores. The indications of significance now match those shown in the RAISEonline interactive and summary reports.

The floor standards shown are still those for 2014. The 2015 floor standards will be published mid-December 2015. These will be included when the validated inspection dashboard is released.

Please note, the inspection dashboards are provided for RAISEonline users only. These differ from the Ofsted School Data Dashboard, which is available to the public.
