With the transfer of the service, we have the chance to look at the service and make sure it is meeting the needs of the children and young people across the district.
We are therefore asking people to complete a survey, telling us their views about the School Nursing Service.
So far we have heard from 15 primary schools and 3 secondary schools. We would like to make sure that we have the broadest range of views and experiences recorded and therefore have extended the deadline to the 27th November 2015.
We need to hear back from PRUs and secondary schools. We know schools are very busy environments, however we want to design a service that meets the needs of the young people it serves.
Please note that the questionnaire only refers to the School Nursing service. It does not relate to staff such as First Aiders employed by the school.
