Research shows that children who are healthy perform better in school. The Public Forum for Education on 10 December will look at examples of best practice and how schools in Bardford can share this.

The forum will take place at Green Lane Primary School, a school which uses innovative methods to promote wellbeing amongst its pupils.

Speakers at the forum will explore the scientific background that shows how better health can help children achieve more at school. It will also look at how outdoor education impacts on capacity to learn. It will also hear from a leading headteacher on the challenges and opportunities of including physical activity within the curriculum.

The forum takes place on Thursday, 10 December 2015 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm (buffet from 4pm) at Green Lane Primary School, Green Lane, Bradford BD8 8HT.
