Course aims and objectives:
This half-day course will provide a basic understanding of the risk assessment process. It will introduce you to the Council standard risk assessment form and give guidance on how to complete it.
It will cover:
- Risk Assessments - The law
- Terminology
- Hazards
- Risk Controls
- The Forms
Pre-requisites:
If you have previously attended the IOSH Managing Safely course you will
not need to attend this one.
Please ensure you request to be booked on the appropriate course relevant to your area.
Target audience:
For those who have a responsibility for Health and Safety in your place of work or formally allocated to your job role.
Cost:
Please note that there is a charge of £50 per person to non-Council employees (including schools) to attend this course.
