We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms.
The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
Dr Debra Kidd, teacher and author, has supported school improvement in Bradford schools. Debra and her colleagues are coming to Bradford for CPD events starting in November 2015.
We’re delighted that Debra is coming back to Bradford for a half day event as part of our Inspiration Programme: Inspiring Great Teaching.
We think this Programme is one of the highlights of our Professional Learning offer; we have three great educationalists lined up for school leaders and teachers! This Programme consists of three half day sessions spread across the year:
· Hywel Roberts. 10th November – Teacher and author of ‘Oops! Helping Children Learn Accidentally’. Twitter:
· Debra Kidd. 10th February – Teacher and author of ‘Teaching: Notes from the Frontline’. Twitter: @debrakidd
· Lisa Jane Ashes. 9th June – Teacher and author of ‘Manglish’ (a combination of maths and English!). Twitter: @lisajaneashes
Each event will be at The Great Victoria Hotel from 13:00-16:00.
The full three half day programme is available for just £213 for the first delegate and £167 for further bookings from the same school. Alternatively, the individual sessions are available or £91 and £76 respectively. Places can be booked at http://tinyurl.com/CostExceed
