Bradford City Runs - Sunday 25 October 2015

There’s still time to sign up for Bradford City Runs on Sunday October 25 with a choice of three distances: 5K, 10K, half marathon and also a special Kids' Run of approximately one mile.

All races start and finish in and around City Park and will raise funds for the Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU) based at the University of Bradford. The unit was set up after the tragic Bradford City fire disaster thirty years ago and continues to explore groundbreaking treatment techniques for burns sufferers.

Among those who’ve already put their name down are the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Coun Joanne Dodds, Bradford Council's new Chief Executive Kersten England and teams from local companies, organisations and running clubs. The event is also being hugely supported by Bradford City and Bradford Bulls and many other groups in the City.

People of all ages and abilities from the whole Bradford district and beyond are welcome, including those in fancy dress, to walk, run, support and celebrate at a great community event!

The event is being organised by Bradford Athletics Network in conjunction with Bradford Council.
