Dear Head Teacher

CHILDREN’S ARTWORK WANTED!

It’s a very exciting time for Bradford as we have just started to build a new hospital wing which will incorporate a brand new, state of the art, Children’s wards.  This is an 80 week programme build with diggers on site and some rather boring hoarding surrounding the building.

We would like the hoarding to be decorated with children’s pictures from our local schools and wondered if your children would like to help?

We would like colourful pictures (by classes or individuals).  The theme being “a new hospital wing” and their interpretation of what this will could look like.  This could be the outside of the building or inside, i.e. a patient in a hospital bed/having tests.  We’d love the children just to use their imagination! The school, of course, would be recognised as a contributor on the hoardings for the duration of the building.

We would also like to display some of the pictures in our Governors’ Living Art Gallery at BRI and a variety of places throughout Bradford.

Please contact Hayley Collis at charity@bthft.nhs.uk  to express interest in the project.

Yours sincerely,
