Event - Lights, Camera, Action: How to use film across the curriculum

Lights, Camera, Action: How to use film and filmmaking across the curriculum - Wednesday 14th October – 10am to 3pm – York This innovative and interactive event will help you find out more about how film is a powerful medium that engages children and young people.

Teaching through film enhances their learning, raises attainment and captures their imaginations. Embedding film across the curriculum helps develop students’ critical thinking and communication skills, whilst also widening and challenging their view of the world they live in.

Into Film and CapeUK will be providing a range of hands-on sessions throughout the day, showcasing simple and effective ways to bring film watching, film understanding and filmmaking into the curriculum.

Location:  The De Grey Rooms, St. Leonard’s Place, York, YO1 7HD
