School Emergency Management Team training

As in previous years, the Emergency Management Team (EMT) and Children's Services are working together to support schools in developing their own School Emergency Management Team (SEMT) as an essential component of their resilience planning.

For a cost of £200, schools will get access to a 2 hour training workshop, dedicated resources for the development of an SEMT, guidance and support in drawing up a school specific plan and dedicated officer support to review and monitor plans.

The workshops will be school based, ideally shared with representatives from neighbouring/cluster schools. Training will take place in term time, Tuesday-Thursday, and would typically be 9.30-11.30am or 1-3pm.

Please indicate an expression of interest in accessing this support to Jim Hughes jim.hughes@bradford.gov.uk

If your school is able to host one of these training sessions (possibly up to 20 participants) please let us know.
