A key theme for the Safeguarding Week Launch 2015 is
communication. There will also be a focus on coercive control and male victims of abuse.
Performing Arts students from Bradford College will showcase their talents through two original pieces they have developed, one focussed on communication and the other focussed on male victims of abuse.
Bradford People’s First will launch some innovative creative work that they have produced locally about Hate Crime.
Bradford College Safeguarding team will share their vision for developing effective communication for students and staff.
Attendees at the launch will have the opportunity to network, collaborate and communicate using the “Wordle Game”.
In attendance at the launch will be the Director of Children Services, the Independent Chairs to the Safeguarding Children and Adult Boards and Safer Communities, the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
